A hastily arranged friendly saw Haverhill Rovers Under 13’s play against their older counterpart Rovers Under 14’s. After a scrappy first ten minutes, the game settled down with the Rovers Under 13 squad, wearing their new Insurance Risk Solutions sponsored kit, looking the more accomplished with some passing moves down each wing. The Under 13’s broke the deadlock when Sam Street notched from a corner kick-routine.

The second half saw much of the same with the Under 13’s really stepping up their game with some impressive passing, which resulted in a two further goals towards the end of the half, with Rhys Shulver heading home from a corner kick ( cue Ali dancing again…) and Will Bailey striking home to complete the scoring to complete a very solid and impressive display from the Under 13’s, against their older counterparts.

Well done lads, great all round team performance, lets take the good form into the season now…
