May 2005 - The final two friendlies finish in defeat away at Balsham and Teversham.
2005/2006 (19/06/08)
Summer 2005 - An excellent summer training schedule, new players and the creation of a second team ensured the WARRIORS came into the new season full of belief and confidence.
August 2005 - An excellent 6 2 victory against Teversham was the perfect opening to the new season.
September 2005 - The first league game and the record books had to be rewritten as the WARRIORS welcomed Plantation to the Lane and set a still standing Cambs Mini Soccer record victory of 28 0.
October 2005 to March 2006 - The team went through the entire period unbeaten, taking on all comers and eventually being invited to play against an Ipswich Town satelitte side. A creditable 3 3 draw saw the WARRIORS invited to the Ipswich Town Academy centre to play the Ipswich Town Elite squad. Despite going down 9 2 it was a tremendous experience for the players and one that will be remembered for many years to come.
March 2006 - A home victory against Balsham by 7 0 sees the WARRIORS crowned champions with two games of the season remaining.
June 2006 - The WARRIORS enter a highly competitive tournament in London and eventually take the runners up spot.
2006/2007 (19/06/08)
Summer 2006 - A well earned break and the players and coaches took a few weeks off to reflect on the successful season and prepare for the new season ahead. New additions to the squad saw Jay Jay Osuchukwu, Sam Street and Leon Bailey join the team.
August 2006 - The traditional curtain raiser saw a great game against Teversham with Wratting pinching a last minute goal to scrape home 3 2.
September to December 2006 - Everything went extremely well for the team, scoring goals for fun whilst hardly conceding any.
January 2007 - A defeat at home against Balsham surrendering a 2 0 lead to lose out 3 2 would prove very costly at the end of the season.
March 2007 - A crucial game away at Sawston United, with the winners almost certain to claim the league title saw the WARRIORS once again surrender an early lead to go down 3 1.
April 2007 - The league campaign finishes with the Warriors losing out by one point to Sawston United. This in a season that saw Wratting score 200 goals and concede just 14...who said that football was fair!!!
May 2007 - The league campaign is soon forgotten as the Warriors win the Newmarket Town tournament.
2007/2008 (19/06/08)
Summer 2007 - The summer was filled with player movements as first Kieran Harrison signs academy terms with Ipswich Town. New signing Owen Boddey attracts the interest of Cambridge United and he also ends up signing academy terms. The good news is the signing of former Saffron Walden Town frontman Alex Carter who joins the club in July and proves an instant hit.
July 2007 - The lads taste another tournament victory, this time at the David Beckham Academy.
August 2007 - Comprehensive friendly victories over strong Burwell Tigers and Teversham teams, set the lads up well for the season ahead. A runners up spot at the Cambridge Utd tournament continues the good form.
Sept 2007 - The perfect pre-season is completed with a great victory in the highly regarded Cherry Hinton tournament.
Sept 2007 - The new league campaign kicks off and the lads start with some good victories.
Oct 2007 - The first cup game for the Warriors sees them ease into round 2 with victory over Cottenham United.
Nov and Dec 2007 - More cup success as the WARRIORS move into round 3 and finish the year still unbeaten at 7 a side. Rhys Shulver signs for the club in Dec.
Jan 2008 - A very difficult January saw a double header against Newmarket Town, either side of a difficult away cup tie against Sawston Utd. The first game against Newmarket produced a well eanred draw, next it took extra time before the WARRIORS saw off Sawston to progress into the quarter finals of the cup. The second game against Newmarket saw Wratting lose their unbeaten record at seven a side.
Feb 2008 - The Warriors continued their fine cup run with victory over Hardwick to move into the semi finals.
Mar 2008 - An agonising 1 0 defeat against Walpole Warriors brought the cup run to an end at the semi final stage. A second league defeat of the season, this time against Sawston meant March turned into a very disappointing month.
April 2008 - Back to form and the lads recorded great victories in the month including a stunning debut victory on the 11 a side stage against Fulbourn.
May 2008 - A season of what ifs as the lads finish second in the league. A second colts victory against a strong Burwell team means we go into the close season full of confidence.
June 2008 - Our last ever outing as West Wratting saw the lads finish in style with a very impressive tournament victory at the Spartak 78 tournament.
